A Well-Architected Framework provides architectural best practices across the five pillars for designing and operating reliable, secure, efficient, and cost-effective systems in the cloud. TNOPPT will submit a set of framework questions that will allows us to review a client’s existing or proposed architecture. The results of the AWS Well-Architected Framework will provide our client the key concepts, design principles, and architectural best practices for designing and running workloads in the cloud.
Cloud Well Architected Framework Assessment
Cloud Migration Readiness Assessment
TNOPTT will perform a formal Cloud Migration Readiness Assessment (MRA) to assist our client in identifying the readiness and maturity of its organization to move to a cloud operating model. The results of the Cloud MRA will be an understanding of where an organization is in its cloud journey. TNOPTT will use an application/infrastructure centric approach to do the cloud fitment and viability analysis. The MRA report will clearly define your company’s areas of strength and weaknesses from a cloud readiness perspective. The final deliverable will be an action plan to resolve the identified gaps so the client’s organization can migrate at scale without having to pause to solve foundational issues.
Cloud Operating Model
The traditional siloed approach to business operations cannot and will not effectively support Cloud services. T.N. Top Tools and Training LLC will provide a Cloud Operating Model for our client. The Cloud Operating model will help our client’s move their business from the traditional to a cloud operating model. Our Cloud Operating model will provide our client a roadmap for organizing its organization to deliver capabilities and outcome required to realize value through cloud services. The cloud operating model will address people, process and technology required to execute successfully. Deliverables will consist of but not limited to, organizational structure, cloud platform, SLAs, roles, governance, and policies needed for an effective cloud operating model.
Cloud Migration Planning
Migrating to a cloud environment is an incredibly involved undertaking. In-depth planning is key to ensuring on-time and within budget implementation, proper resource use and risk management, change management and minimal disruption to our client’s business. TNOPTT has a standardized approach to cloud migration planning that eliminates the need for each business unit to independently create a plan from scratch. We have a migration team that is experienced in planning complex IT projects. Our migration planning process implements an approach that considers the dependencies between data, application, resources, and services.
TNOPTT standard planning process and framework for cloud migration will reduce planning time and the resources required to deploy. Our methodology will ensure the appropriate planning factors are considered to support efforts to migrate a data center to a cloud-based architecture. TNOPTT cloud migration planning uses our best practice planning template, along with input from the cloud MRA report, Well Architected Framework assessment and the Cloud Center of Excellence. Our migration planning templates are dynamic enough to handle the various migration approaches (Lift and Shift, Replatform, Rehost and Refactor, etc.). TNOPTTT does not conduct migration planning in a vacuum. Instead we work hand-in-hand with our client to make sure we migrate in a manner that is cost effective, fast and aligned with our client’s priorities.
